Google shafted me.

I put google ads on my site to raise money to give away the rest of my chicken t-shirts (Read about it here). Two days later I got an email from google.

Subject: Google AdSense Account Disabled

Hello Thilo Savage,

It has come to our attention that invalid clicks have been generated on
the ads on your web pages. We have therefore disabled your Google
AdSense account. Please understand that this step was taken in an
effort to protect the interest of the AdWords advertisers.

A publisher's site may not have invalid clicks on any ad(s), including
but not limited to clicks generated by a publisher on his own web
pages, clicks generated through the use of robots, automated clicking
tools, or any other deceptive software.

Practices such as these are in violation of the Google AdSense Terms
and Conditions and program polices, which can be viewed at:

https://www.google.com/adsense/localized-terms?hl=en_US
https://www.google.com/adsense/policies?hl=en_US

Publishers disabled for invalid click activity are not allowed further
participation in AdSense and do not receive any further payment. The
earnings on your account will be properly returned to the affected
advertisers.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

My theory is that google saw that a few of you had clicked on the ads 200 times and assumed you were "deceptive software." Regardless, they should have their own sort of protection from this and shouldn't penalize me for it.

And they didn't merely cancel the account. They stole all the money I had made during those two days. Now I get nothing. Zero. This is absurd how they can stomp on me like this and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Anyway, I came up with a plan.

Plan:

If I can convince all you guys to email google saying that you are in fact real people and did click on ads, I think we might be able to change their minds and get this free t-shirt giveaway back on the road.

email this address: adsense-adclicks@google.com

And explain to them that you are a real person and you clicked on the ads. Make the subject line include "ninjapirate.com" and something about reenabling the account.

Also keep in mind that spammail generators exist. So use your own creative words. And by creative words, I don't mean "fuck you shitface google." Try to sound intelligent while retaining a unique personality to avoid being classified as computer generated spam. Here's an example...

"Dear google... I am a real live breathing human and not a software program. At least I don't think I am software. But who knows?!?.. The Matrix? Ooo.. Anyway, you cancelled ninjapirate.com's account unfairly and I think you should reenable it. He should not be punished for a few morons clicking on ads 300 times to piss him off. Thanks for your time."

Remember, don't just do it for t-shirts. Do it to be a part of challenging this corporate slave state. And if you're particularly bored, email them from multiple email addresses.

Thanks again. I love you guys. <3 :).. No really. I love you. Seriously. Like, I'm not even fucking kidding god dammit. Do me?

people are pissed about this on principle and not just because of the shirts.
